Barry Island Railway Events List 2008
**DATE ALTERATION- PLEASE NOTE** Date changed to avoid event clash with Llangollen Railway.
Come along for our special enthusiasts day on Saturday 7th June 2008. Class 108, Class 117 and Class 115 units will all be running, some in 4 car formation. Tail loads will be attached on some workings. **Selected trains running on the new extension to Gladstone Bridge Halt.** Free Working Timetables and information sheet available. A revised WTT can be downloaded HERE. Tickets available from Barry Island station booking office on the day. First train departs (Barry Island) at 1041hrs, last train at 1700hrs. Buffet and shop open. Tickets Adult return - £3 Adult all-day rover - £8 A 2 - day rover will be made available covering the DMU Day and the Transport Fesitval. £2 off adult fare £1 off Ch/Sen fare on production of Sat (DMU Day) rover ticket.

The "Barry Eight" collection of steam locomotives open to the public at the former Barry Steam Shed (88C). Trade and Preservation stands.
